Motorhome Rental Terms and Conditions
To rent a motorhome, you need a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience. The motorhome may be driven by persons at least 25 years of age who hold a category B license. If the renter is a legal entity, the rental agreement is signed by a board member or a person authorized by them, who must present the rental company with documents proving their authorization.
Booking and security deposit
Payment is only possible by bank transfer. The motorhome renter must pay a security deposit of 500–1000 EUR to guarantee fulfillment of the contract terms; this is refunded 100% upon termination of the contract, provided the requirements have been met. We reserve the right to choose our clients, we carry out background checks, and we hold a booking for 48 hours!
If the renter, for whatever reason, notifies the lessor of their trip cancellation 30 days in advance, we will refund the security deposit 100%.
Rental period and mileage
The minimum rental period for the motorhome is 4 days. A shorter period may be agreed upon if availability exists in the calendar. For longer periods, we are willing to offer a better price. We recommend notifying us in good time of any possible changes regarding the time and/or place of returning the motorhome. There is no mileage limit on the motorhome, but it would be good to know where you are driving — whether you are travelling within Estonia or wish to go further afield.
Rental prices
Rental prices include the cost of oils and maintenance. The rental price does not include the cost of fuel.
Insurance
The motorhome rental price includes traffic insurance. Tyres and rims are not insured, and the renter bears full material liability for both tyres and rims. In the event of a traffic accident or the theft/misappropriation of the motorhome, the renter is obligated to immediately notify the police and the lessor.
Validity of the contract
Every signed contract is binding — even if you have not read it or understood it. We recommend that you always read the terms carefully before signing the contract and clarify anything if necessary. Later claims will not be honored or will be resolved in court.
Driving outside of Estonia
The client may not drive the rented motorhome outside of Europe!
Condition of the vehicle
The motorhome is handed over to you fuelled, washed, and in technically sound condition. When receiving the vehicle, we recommend inspecting it carefully and noting all damage (including scratches) in the contract; otherwise, you may be held liable for damage that already existed on the vehicle beforehand. The lessor is not directly or indirectly liable for damages that may arise from a breakdown of the motorhome, or if the trip is interrupted or delayed as a result. If a breakdown occurs during the rental period, the renter may demand a corresponding price reduction if the lessor cannot prove that they did everything in their power to keep the vehicle in working order.
Fuel
The motorhome is handed over to you with a full fuel tank. If the motorhome is returned without a full tank, a contractual penalty of 150 EUR is added to the rental fee. The renter shall compensate for any damage caused by incorrect fuelling.
Handover and return of the vehicle
The rental period begins at 16:00 on the rental day and ends at 11:00 on the final rental day, unless otherwise agreed. The motorhome must be returned with the interior carefully cleaned, the toilet cassette and wastewater tank emptied, and the water tank refilled, as it was at the moment of pickup. When paying for the rental period, a cleaning fee of 150 euros must also be paid immediately, which covers the final cleaning. The lessor has the right to demand an additional cleaning fee if the motorhome has not been cleaned well enough. The price for interior and exterior cleaning in such a case is by agreement. Emptying the wastewater tanks and refilling the water tank with fresh water costs 25 EUR. Upon return of the motorhome, the lessor and renter carry out the inspection of the vehicle together. For faults that were not present at the time of handover and that cannot be considered normal wear and tear, the lessor has the right to withhold the security deposit partially or in full, depending on the faults. The handover of the motorhome normally takes place in Tallinn, but for an additional fee we can also bring the vehicle anywhere in Estonia.
Claims from third parties
All claims from third parties caused by the renter and/or motorhome users during the rental period (for example, traffic violations, parking fines, late-fee/toll decisions, vehicle towing, etc.) are subject to full reimbursement by the renter and/or vehicle users, including retroactively.
Other
For an additional fee of 15 euros per day, dogs up to 15 kg are permitted. Prior approval is required. In case of violation of this requirement, a contractual penalty of 200 EUR applies.
Equipment
The motorhome is fitted with anti-theft devices and additional security locks on the doors, both inside and outside.
